Namita Dharia

Namita Dharia is a sociocultural anthropologist and architect, specializing in new materialisms of urban South Asia. She has a PhD in anthropology from Harvard University and a MArch in architecture from Cornell University. She is currently Assistant Professor of Political Economy at the Rhode Island School of Design and is working on a book manuscript entitled The Industrial Ephemeral: The Aesthetics and Politics of Labor in Construction.
