Dr. Angelica Johansson holds a PhD in Political Science from University College London (UCL). Angelica's research interests lie in understanding how expertise is made and used within the international climate regime, particularly within policy fields that are politically ambiguous. Her thesis explored knowledge politics within the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and had a specific focus on the production of “climate change loss and damage” as an object of governance and the role of expert groups for its governance. Her current work is exploring how climate change loss and damage is governed in Sweden and Norway. Angelica holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Climate Change, Development and Policy from Sussex University and the Institute for Development Studies, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Peace and Conflict Research from Uppsala University.
