John P. DiMoia is an Associate Professor in the Department of Korean History at Seoul National University. He was previously Associate Professor of History at the National University of Singapore (NUS), and has focused on (1) the broader history of technology in East Asia, (2) the history of medicine (tropical, global, eighteenth century–present), and (3) modern Korea (mid-nineteenth-century–present).
