Joshua A. Bell is Curator for Globalization and Acting Director of the National Anthropological Archives at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History. He combines ethnographic fieldwork with research in museums and archives to examine the shifting network of relationships between persons, artifacts, and the environment.
