Nathanael Araujo is a PhD candidate in social anthropology at State University of Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil; researcher at the Center for Gender Studies PAGU, the Atelier of Symbolic Production and Anthropology (APSA) and the Law and Democracy Nucleus of The Brazilian Center of Analysis and Planning (NDD / CEBRAP); and editor of PROA: Journal of Anthropology and Art. He investigates relations between the publishing market, the art market, gender, and sexuality. His analysis concerns printed art fairs and independent publications that have occurred in Brazil in the last two decades. He has interest in ethnographic approaches to the social history of publishing, anthropology of consumption, anthropology of objects, and anthropology of art.
