Sylvain Perdigon is Associate Professor of Anthropology at the American University of Beirut. His writings on kinship for Palestinian refugees in Tyre, Lebanon, appeared in Current Anthropology, HAU, and various edited volumes. His current research, The Sheep from the Future, examines the mutual absorption of human and animal forms of life in Levantine transhumanist pastoralism.
