Dannah Dennis studies the forms and consequences of citizenship in Nepal and beyond. She is currently working on an article titled "'Alexa, Was Buddha Born in Nepal?' Microcelebrity, Citizenship, and Digital Diaspora on YouTube." She is a visiting assistant professor of anthropology at Hamilton College.
