Felipe Coimbra Moretti is a student at the joint doctoral program in Anthropology and History at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He does his research in Brazil's Northeast, where he is interested in seeing how capitalist development has shaped local landscapes over the last hundred years. He currently serves as a graduate student instructor for a course on the history of the mental health sciences in the US. He holds a M.A. in Social Anthropology from the National Museum, Rio de Janeiro.
