Roberto Rezende is an anthropologist based in Altamira, Pará, Brazil. Since 2006 he works with riverine communities of the Amazon, focusing on territorial management, economic thought, and the defense of cultural rights. At present he is a postdoctoral fellow at Universidade Federal de São Carlos and collaborates with Instituto Socioambiental.
