Dr. Biesel is a Mellon Humanities Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Park Service and Affiliate Faculty at the University of Maine. Her research explores how marginalized communities use traditional ecological knowledge to navigate and challenge settler-colonial modes of resource governance.
