Mamyrah Dougé-Prosper is an activist and assistant professor of Global and International Studies at the University of California, Irvine whose work focuses on Haitian social movements. As an international coordinator of the Pan-African Solidarity Network—Community Movement Builders, she works to amplify the struggles of the people of Haiti. Her work has appeared in NACLA, and she is currently working on a monograph entitled Development Contested in Occupied Haiti: Social Movements, NGOs, and the Evangelical State.
