Andrés Romero is a PhD candidate at Wayne State University and Predoctoral Fellow at the Center for Society, Health, and Medicine at New York University Shanghai. His research explores questions of violence, place, memory, images and imagination, and selfhood in Bogotá, Colombia. He is the section editor for the Visual and New Media Review at the Society for Cultural Anthropology website.
