Ellen Moodie is Associate Professor of Anthropology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and author of El Salvador in the Aftermath of Peace: Crime, Uncertainty, and the Transition to Democracy (2010). Her current research explores the political dilemmas of the post-postwar generation in El Salvador.
