Luis A. López-Herazo is a researcher at the Institute of Intercultural Studies of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana of Cali. He trained as a political scientist at Icesi University and has a master's degree in Rural Development from the University of Extremadura. He has worked closely with communities living in dire conditions in Cali, Buenaventura (Colombia) and Buenos Aires (Argentina).
