Mythri Jegathesan is Associate Professor in the Department of Anthropology at Santa Clara University. She is author of Tea and Solidarity: Tamil Women and Work in Postwar Sri Lanka (University of Washington Press, 2019) and is currently researching land attachment, livelihood, caste relations, and debt among formerly displaced Tamil communities in Sri Lanka's Northern Province.
