We welcome you to the Screening Room film series channel. The Screening Room is an open-access virtual film series that allows each featured film to be screened for a period of two weeks. Guided by an interest in medium and form, we showcase a set of films that play with the boundaries of fiction and documentary, that experiment with creating visual languages for theoretical concepts, and that create stories from origin points outside of the usual centers of knowledge and artistic production. The Screening Room series also features curatorial introductions to each film, Teaching Tools guidelines for the films, and academic film reviews.
